  • Chicken with bones and skin – 1 KG
  • Chopped tomatoes - 2-3 medium-sized
  • Sliced Onion - 1 large
  • Sliced green chilies – 4 or 5 in quantity.
  • Ginger paste - 1 Tbs
  • Garlic paste - 1 Tbs
  • Cumin seeds - 1 Tbs
  • Coriander seeds - 1 Tbs
  • Red chili flakes - 1 Tbs
  • Turmeric powder - 1 Tbs
  • Salt as per your taste.
  • Cooking oil - 3 Tbs

For garnishing use Fresh coriander leaves.


How to Make Chicken Karahi

1. Before starting the delicious recipe I’ll recommended that you use a large pan or Karahi, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat.


2. Now add the sliced onions and fry until golden brown.

3. Now you can add the chicken pieces and fry until it turns golden brown on all sides. Make sure it should not be over cooked or burned.


4. At this point add the garlic and ginger paste, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chilli flakes and salt and mix well.


5. Now you add the chopped green chilies and tomatoes and mix well and cover the pan.


6. It should be cooked on medium heat for 15-20 minutes or until the tomatoes have softened and the chicken is tender.
